After 1993 Jeep decided to upgrade to the Grand Cherokee model. It started with the Grand Cherokee ZJ model from 1993-1998 and then to the Grand Cherokee WJ from 1999-2004. From there the line was continued and still goes today. From 2005 to Present the Grand Cherokee goes under the name of WK and is the most luxurious and powerful of the Jeep models.
